Arrange the geese units around the star unit as shown below.
Attach the small stripe unit to the star & geese unit
as shown below.
SPECIAL NOTICE!
You will find that the size proportions of the stripes
and the star section may not have an exact match. Rather than to have you
work with 16th's and 32nd's in the initial sewing process, we have devised
this method of making them fit. You will find that the stripe sections
are slightly larger than needed (approx. 1/2"). We suggest resewing
the seams a tiny bit deeper (it will only take about a 16th of an inch
or less extra for each seam) until the piece fits the star section. Measure
after resewing each seam and stop when the piece matches the size of your
star section.
